Recent rejected appeals show we can win!
- A wind farm will not be allowed in the Vale of Belvoir, a planning inspector has ruled. The decision was announced following an 11-day planning appeal.
- A bid to build a wind farm with 5 turbines at Matlock was refused at Appeal in April of this year.
- The planning application, by Nuon, to site 7 commercial turbines around Poplar Lane Bearstone Shropshire was refused by NSDC in September 2008, and the appeals refused in July 2009.
- In dismissing an appeal for 9 turbines overlooking he Cynon Valley, the Planning Inspector concluded that the environmental and visual harm caused by the windfarm would outweigh the contribution it would make as a source of renewable energy.
We believe that our case for refusal of this proposal is at least as strong. We can win this fight for our countryside.
